Citizen of the United States at the time of application. No felony record or serious misdemeanor record of convictions. Must be 21 years of age or have reached their 21st birthday at the time of appointment. Proof of successful completion of basic police training from any P.O.S.T approved training facility or successful completion of qualified POST approved equivalent testing. High school diploma or General Education Diploma (G.E.D.) equivalent. Must possess a valid driver's license from any state of residency at time of application and possess a valid driver's license from any state of residency at the time of appointment. Must have had an honorable discharge from military, if applicable.
